Job Summary
Operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated body portions as ordered by physicians. Position and instruct patients prior to examinations, adjusting equipment for proper voltage, current, and exposure time. Perform screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation, explain procedures to patients, and answer questions. Prepare equipment and examination rooms, position patients for imaging, and monitor patients to ensure safety. Produce diagnostic images, document exam information, report findings to physicians, and verify exams on PACS. Requires Oregon Board of Medical Imaging license, ARRT certification, and BLS. Full-time or part-time availability. Located in The Dalles, Oregon.
Required Qualifications
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiography ARRT-R license
- Oregon Board of Medical Imaging OBMI Radiologic Technologist License
- Basic Life Support BLS certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable
- Acknowledgment of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in radiologic technology
- Fluoroscopy license in state of employment
