Job Summary
Operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated body portions as ordered by physicians, positioning and instructing patients prior to examinations. Adjust equipment settings for voltage, current, and exposure time while performing screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation. Prepare examination rooms and equipment, monitor patients for safety, and document exam information. Report important findings to physicians and verify exams on PACS. Requires an ARRT-R license, OBMI license, and BLS certification; full-time or part-time schedule available. Located in The Dalles, Oregon, with Adventist Health Columbia Gorge serving the community since 1901.
Required Qualifications
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiography ARRT-R license
- Oregon Board of Medical Imaging OBMI Radiologic Technologist License
- Basic Life Support BLS certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter
- Acknowledgment of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices

- Associate's Degree in radiologic technology
