Radiology Technologist, Part Time

Operates x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated body portions as ordered by physicians. Positions and instructs patients prior to examinations, adjusting equipment to determine proper voltage, current, and exposure time. Prepares examination rooms and equipment, then monitors patients to ensure safety during imaging. Produces diagnostic images, documents exam information, and reports critical findings to physicians. Verifies exams on PACS and performs screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation. Explains procedures to patients and answers questions throughout the process.
