Radiology Technologist, Part Time

Job Summary
Operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated body portions as ordered by physicians, positioning and instructing patients prior to examinations while adjusting voltage, current, and exposure time. Perform screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation, explain processes to patients, and prepare examination rooms and equipment. Monitor patients during exams, document exam information, report findings to physicians, and verify exams on PACS. Complete other job-related duties as assigned. This part-time role is located in The Dalles, Oregon, with Adventist Health Columbia Gorge serving the Columbia River Gorge community since 1901.
Required Qualifications
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists â€" Radiography (ARRT-R)
- Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) Radiologic Technologist License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- All required vaccinations
- Access to and understanding of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in radiologic technology
