Radiology Technologist, Part Time

Job Summary
Operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated body portions as ordered by physicians. Position and instruct patients prior to examinations, adjust equipment settings, and determine proper voltage, current, and exposure time for each image. Perform screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation, explain procedures to patients, and answer questions. Prepare examination rooms and equipment, position patients for imaging, and monitor patients to ensure safety during exams. Produce diagnostic images, document exam information, report findings to physicians, and verify exams on PACS. Requires Oregon Board of Medical Imaging license, ARRT-R certification, and BLS. Part-time schedule available.
Required Qualifications
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiography (ARRT-R)
- Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) Radiologic Technologist License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Fluoroscopy license in state of employment
- All required vaccinations
- Access to and understanding of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in radiologic technology
