Radiology Technologist, Part Time

Job Summary
Operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated body portions as ordered by physicians. Position and instruct patients prior to examinations, adjust equipment settings, and determine proper voltage, current, and exposure time. Perform screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation, explain procedures to patients, and prepare examination rooms and equipment. Monitor patients during exams, produce diagnostic images, document exam information, and report findings to physicians. Verify exams on PACS and perform other assigned duties. Requires Oregon Board of Medical Imaging license, ARRT certification, and BLS. Part-time schedule available.
Required Qualifications
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiography (ARRT-R)
- Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) Radiologic Technologist License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Fluoroscopy license in state of employment
- All required vaccinations
- Access to and understanding of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in radiologic technology
