Job Summary
Operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated body portions as ordered by physicians, positioning and instructing patients prior to each examination. Adjust equipment settings for proper voltage, current, and exposure time while performing screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation. Prepare examination rooms and equipment as needed, monitor patients during exams to ensure safety, and document exam information. Verify exams on PACS and report important findings to the physician. This part-time role is located in The Dalles, Oregon, at Adventist Health Columbia Gorge, a 49-bed hospital serving the Columbia River Gorge community since 1901.
Required Qualifications
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists â€" Radiography (ARRT-R)
- Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) Radiologic Technologist License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- All required vaccinations
- Access to and understanding of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in radiologic technology
