Radiology Technologist, Part Time

Job Summary
Operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated body portions as ordered by physicians, positioning and instructing patients prior to each examination. Adjust equipment settings for proper voltage, current, and exposure time while performing screening procedures and explaining diagnostic steps. Prepare examination rooms and monitor patients to ensure safety during imaging exams. Produce diagnostic images, document exam information, and report critical findings to physicians. Verify exams on PACS and perform other job-related duties as assigned. This part-time role is located in The Dalles, Oregon, at Adventist Health Columbia Gorge.
Required Qualifications
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists â€" Radiography (ARRT-R)
- Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) Radiologic Technologist License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- All required vaccinations
- E-Verify participation and acknowledgment of Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in radiologic technology
