Job Summary
Operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated body portions as ordered by physicians. Position and instruct patients prior to examinations, adjust equipment settings for proper voltage, current, and exposure time. Perform screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation, explain procedures to patients, and prepare examination rooms. Monitor patients to ensure safety during exams and verify exams on PACS. Document exam information and report important findings to the physician. Requires American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R) license, Oregon Board of Medical Imaging license, and Basic Life Support certification. Full-time or part-time status available in The Dalles, Oregon.
Required Qualifications
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists â€" Radiography (ARRT-R)
- Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) Radiologic Technologist License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- All required vaccinations
- Access to and understanding of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in radiologic technology
