Job Summary
Operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated body portions as ordered by physicians, positioning and instructing patients prior to each examination. Adjust equipment settings for proper voltage, current, and exposure time while performing screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation. Prepare examination rooms and equipment, monitor patients for safety, and document exam information before reporting findings to physicians. Verify exams on PACS and perform other assigned duties. This part-time role is located in The Dalles, Oregon, with an Associate's degree preferred and ARRT licensure required.
Required Qualifications
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiography (ARRT-R)
- Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) Radiologic Technologist License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Fluoroscopy license in state of employment
- All required vaccinations
- Access to and understanding of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
