Job Summary
Produces radiographs for diagnostic purposes as directed by the Orthopedic Physician. Responsibilities include verifying patient data, physician orders, and pregnancy status; providing information and instructions to patients; selecting appropriate imaging parameters and devices; obtaining optimum images; maintaining equipment; and documenting patient information. Requires current ARRT Registry and BLS certification. No direct supervisory responsibilities, but coaching and mentoring for department staff is expected.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a (JRCERT) accredited Radiologic Technology Program
- Related training/experience (preferably within the past five years)
- Strong leadership ability
- Good organizational skills
- Independent and critical thinking skills
- Strong ability to communicate complex topics
