Job Summary
Perform diagnostic imaging exams on patients using specialized equipment, ensuring proper identification, order verification, and adherence to radiation safety guidelines. Review images for quality and accuracy, complete studies within acceptable time limits, and assist students or other technologists in protocols and positioning. Provide patient education, ensure comfort, practice infection control, and maintain accurate records of procedures and adverse reactions. Operate equipment and information systems while following protocols for medical necessity, coding, and equipment failure reporting. This PRN position at Saint George Regional Hospital involves working 2-3 days a week, with shifts starting as early as 7:30 and running until 5:30. Candidates must maintain ARRT or modality-specific competency and hold a state license. Required Qualifications
- ARRT certification
- Radiologic technologist license in state of practice
- Basic Life Support certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Licensure as a Practical Radiologic Technologist/Limited Scope Operator in state of practice
- ARRT Board Registry Eligible per state requirements
- Competency in at least one of the following areas: Chest, Extremities, Spine, Skull, Podiatry, Bone Densitometry (DEXA)

- Previous experience as a radiology technologist
- Clinic based and/or spine experience
