Radiology Technologist (OFNHP), Part Time

Job Summary
Operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated body portions as ordered by physicians. Position and instruct patients prior to examinations, adjusting equipment voltage, current, and exposure time. Perform screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation, explain procedures to patients, and answer questions. Prepare examination rooms and equipment, then position patients for imaging while monitoring safety. Produce diagnostic images, document exam information, and report important findings to physicians. Verify exams on PACS and perform other job-related duties as assigned. This part-time role is located in The Dalles, Oregon, within Adventist Health Columbia Gorge's 49-bed hospital and medical office network.
Required Qualifications
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists â€" Radiography (ARRT-R)
- Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) Radiologic Technologist License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- All required vaccinations
- Access to and understanding of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in radiologic technology
