Job Summary
Operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated body portions as ordered by physicians, positioning and instructing patients prior to each examination. Adjust equipment settings for proper voltage, current, and exposure time while performing screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation. Prepare examination rooms and equipment as needed, monitor patients for safety during scans, and verify exams on PACS. Document exam information and report critical findings to physicians. This role is represented by OFNHP within Adventist Health Columbia Gorge's 49-bed hospital in The Dalles, Oregon.
Required Qualifications
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists â€" Radiography (ARRT-R)
- Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) Radiologic Technologist License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- All required vaccinations
- Access to and understanding of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in radiologic technology
