Radiology Technologist (OFNHP), Part Time

Job Summary
Operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated body portions as ordered by physicians, positioning and instructing patients prior to examination while adjusting voltage, current, and exposure time. Perform screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation, explain procedures to patients, and prepare examination rooms and equipment as needed. Produce diagnostic images, document exam information, and report important findings to physicians while verifying exams on PACS. Monitor patients to ensure safety during exams and perform other job-related duties as assigned. This part-time role is located in The Dalles, Oregon, within a 49-bed hospital and various medical offices serving the Columbia River Gorge community.
Required Qualifications
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists â€" Radiography (ARRT-R)
- Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) Radiologic Technologist License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- All required vaccinations
- Access to and understanding of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in radiologic technology
