Job Summary
The Radiology Technologist performs diagnostic X-ray procedures, including positioning patients and adjusting equipment settings, ensuring safety compliance and quality control of images. Responsibilities include equipment maintenance, adherence to organizational policies, and teamwork in a healthcare environment. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, formal training in radiologic technology, and necessary state licensure. Strong communication skills and a focus on patient care are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training in an AMA-approved school
- Current licensure as a Registered Technologist through the Texas Medical Board
- Radiological Technologist must be in good standing with American Registry of Radiological Technologist
- Current AHA approved Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) course completion card or within 60 days of hire
Desired Qualifications
- One (1) or more years of related work experience
