Job Summary
Radiology Technologist I in the ambulatory setting at Novant Health Pediatrics Sports Medicine (Midtown) for full-time, Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm with no weekends/holidays. Responsibilities include collecting patient information and pre-visit questionnaires, performing diagnostic imaging, taking X-rays, and operating radiology equipment to obtain diagnostic images while adhering to safety protocols. Must be a graduate of an ARRT-approved Radiography Program (or equivalent) with ARRT RT(R) certification/registration and able to work independently or with physicians; strong communication skills and ability to adapt to age-specific patient needs are required. Schedule supports professional growth within the Novant Health team.
Required Qualifications
- 2 Year / Associate Degree (preferred)
- Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program, required
- One year experience in diagnostic radiology, preferred
- ARRT RT(R) certification/registration required
- NH Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility or Hospital Outpatient Department Certification/registration by ARRT in Radiography - RT(R) required
- NH Medical Group Certification and registration by ARRT in Radiography - RT(R) required
- Ability to operate radiography equipment and ensure patient safety
