Job Summary
Perform diagnostic medical radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, including EKGs, phlebotomy, IV insertions, and autologous/therapeutic donations. Obtain patient history, vital signs, and required documentation while explaining procedures and answering questions. Maintain X-ray equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure work areas remain orderly and safe. Transport patients to radiographic rooms, develop and evaluate films for technical quality, and manage PACS data. Assist licensed practitioners with specialized interventional procedures and request supplies as needed. Monday-Friday 7:45am-4:15pm with on-call rotation for coverage in Westminster, Reisterstown, Ellicott City, and Frederick. ARRT license required.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technology) Radiology Technology license in the State of Maryland, Virginia, or District of Columbia
Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree preferred
