Job Summary
Perform x-ray diagnostic imaging by acquiring ordered images, evaluating technical quality, and transmitting results for interpretation. Conduct patient triage, venipuncture, laboratory testing, vitals monitoring, and medication administration under physician supervision. Transport patients, prepare radiographic rooms, and manage equipment maintenance and sterilization protocols. Support patient flow through telephone triage, follow-up calls, and discharge assistance while maintaining strict adherence to safety, quality, and accreditation standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Completion of an approved R.T. Program
- Externship in a medical or ambulatory health setting
- 1-2 years 2+ years of medical office experience
- ARRT ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
- American Board of Radiology - ABR Radiology Technologist license in the State of Maryland
- CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (includes BLS and NRP) for healthcare providers from either the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross within 90 Days
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree
- Completion of an approved M.A. program

- Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)-American Medical Technologists
