Job Summary
Perform clinical and administrative duties consistent with MedStar Health policies, including patient intake, venipuncture, laboratory testing, and medication administration. Execute diagnostic imaging such as X-rays, spirometry, EKGs, and vision/hearing tests while maintaining equipment and adhering to safety standards. Manage patient flow, document care in the electronic health record, and conduct patient follow-up calls for lab results and clinical updates. This role supports the MedStar Health Urgent Care team in the Baltimore-Washington metro region, one of the largest healthcare systems in Maryland. Candidates must hold an Associate degree, complete an approved Radiologic Technology program, and possess ARRT certification with a state license.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree
- Completion of an approved R.T. program
- Externship in a medical or ambulatory health setting
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technology) Certification
- Maryland, Virginia, or DC State License
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years of medical office experience preferred
