Job Summary
Radiology Technologist needed to perform diagnostic imaging using radiographic equipment, explain safety protocols and exams to patients, operate fluoroscopic, portable, and diagnostic imaging devices, and work as part of a multidisciplinary team. Assigned to a designated radiography area with potential coverage at other MGB sites; ARRT/R.T. license required within 180 days of hire; must confirm patient/exam details, adjust equipment factors for safe imaging, ensure correct labeling and transmission to PACS, and maintain attention to detail and effective communication with patients. Required Qualifications
- Education: Education Certificate/Diploma Radiography required; Associate's Degree Radiography preferred; Licensure/Certification: Radiologic Technologist license/ARRT registration within specified timeframe; 0-1 year experience preferred (but not strictly required)
