Job Summary
Obtain diagnostic quality radiographic and mammogram images according to pre-established guidelines. Schedule and observe time-management techniques according to departmental productivity and efficiency standards while observing a quality patient care experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a radiographer program
- completion of eight (8) hours of digital mammographer training
- forty (40) hours of training in mammography
- performance of twenty-five (25) mammograms under direct supervision of MQSA qualified individual
- One (1) year of clinical Radiation Technology experience in an acute care setting is preferred
- Licensure in Medical Radiation with the state of Mississippi is required
- Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiology
- BLS Certification is required
