Job Summary
Radiology Technologist LMRT Externship Coordinator coordinates externships by building partnerships with clinical sites, ensuring compliance with federal/state/accreditation standards, and driving program goals (e.g., 40% extern-to-hire conversion). Responsibilities include recruiting and developing externship site partnerships, monitoring and maintaining records (evaluations, timecards, surveys), serving as liaison between students, faculty, and sites, conducting weekly site visits and orientations, supporting career readiness (resume/interview prep), collaborating with the Placement Coordinator to support post-graduation employment, maintaining affiliation agreements and CampusVue documentation, tracking student progress, and participating in staff meetings and campus initiatives. Required qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, LMRT program or certificate or Radiologic Technology Associate’s Degree, ARRT/RT/LMRT certification, and strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet performance goals. This role is based in Dallas, TX and involves in-person coordination of externships.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Completion of an LMRT Program or Certificate (3+ years experience) OR Radiologic Technology Associate’s Degree (2+ years experience)
- Required certifications: ARRT, RT, or LMRT
