Job Summary
Perform general diagnostic radiological imaging studies under physician direction, including patient positioning for anatomy/pathology demonstrations, operation of radiation-producing equipment and electronic radiology systems, and preparation of patient room/equipment/medications. May include phlebotomy competency for lab at sites performing Radiology and Lab. Requires registry eligibility or licensure with VA licensing; ARRT registration within 90 days of hire. Part-time swing-shift role with potential weekend work; 20 hours/week. Familiarity with radiology workflow and ability to operate imaging systems is essential.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Radiologic Technologist in Virginia
- Certification/Licensure Registry eligible graduate in lieu of ARRT, must be registered within 90 days of hire
- Licensed Rad Tech required for staff employed in Virginia
