Conduct prescribed radiographic imaging procedures under supervision by positioning patients and selecting technical parameters. Complete documentation for regulatory, billing, and image distribution tasks while assisting physicians during imaging. Implement radiation protection standards and maintain supplies for department operations. Assist with patient comfort, expediting flow, and documenting clinical information. May prepare contrast media and medications within scope of practice. Requires enrollment in a radiology technologist program, CPR certification, and criminal background clearances.
