Radiology Technologist

Perform diagnostic imaging exams on patients using specialized equipment while ensuring proper identification, order verification, and patient preparation. Review images for quality and accuracy, adhere to radiation safety guidelines, and complete studies within acceptable time limits. Assist and instruct students on exam protocols, positioning, and equipment operation, while providing patient education and maintaining infection control standards. Operate information systems to document procedures and track adverse reactions, following protocols for medical necessity, coding, and equipment failure reporting. Maintain ARRT certification and BLS, with a 40-hour schedule and shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends.
