Radiology Technologist

Perform diagnostic imaging exams on patients using specialized equipment while ensuring proper identification, order verification, and patient preparation. Review images for quality, clarity, and accuracy, adhering to radiation safety guidelines and department protocols to complete studies within acceptable time limits. Maintain ARRT or modality-specific competency, assist and instruct students on protocols and positioning, and provide appropriate patient education and comfort. Practice infection control, operate information systems, and keep accurate records of procedures and adverse reactions. Follow protocols for medical necessity, coding, charging, consents, and equipment failure reporting.
