Job Summary
Perform diagnostic imaging exams on patients using specialized equipment while ensuring proper identification, order verification, and patient preparation. Review images for quality, clarity, and accuracy, adhering to radiation safety guidelines and department protocols. Assist and instruct students or other technologists on exam protocols, procedures, and positioning. Provide patient education, maintain infection control standards, and operate information systems to document procedures and track adverse reactions. Complete studies within acceptable time limits without compromising care. This 40-hour role at Saint Joseph Hospital requires ARRT certification, BLS, and state licensure. Candidates with 1-2 years of experience and IV certification are preferred.
