Job Summary
Perform diagnostic imaging exams on patients using specialized equipment while ensuring proper patient identification, order verification, and preparation. Review images for quality, clarity, and accuracy, adhering to radiation safety guidelines and department protocols to complete studies within acceptable time limits. Assist students and peers in exam protocols, procedures, and positioning; provide patient education, ensure comfort, and maintain infection control standards. Operate equipment and information systems, keep accurate records of procedures and adverse reactions, and follow protocols for medical necessity, coding, and equipment failure reporting. Maintain ARRT certification, BLS, and state licensure; experience preferred. Located at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colorado, with 40 weekly hours and shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends.
