Job Summary
Coordinate specialized equipment, calculate technical factors, and process film while performing highly complex exams. Types, proofreads, and mails results to ensure quality within the appropriate timeframe. Utilize radiation safety devices, maintain and clean equipment work areas, and report malfunctions. Attend departmental in-services and staff development programs. Requires ARRT certification, current state license, and CPR certification with at least two years of radiography training.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT certified
- current license as required by the state
- Maintains current CPR certification
- Minimum 2 years of radiography training in an accredited program
- Working knowledge of all radiological equipment
- able to perform highly specialized exams as part of the diagnostic team
