Job Summary
Performs diagnostic imaging procedures (X-ray, CT, Mammography, Bone Density, Ultrasound, and Special Procedures) per department protocols; serves as the primary point of contact for patients, ensuring quality service and care; participates in Performance Improvement (PI) and Quality Control (QC) activities; assists with maintaining the department Performance Improvement Program; Oversees radiology operations and/or staff in the absence of the Manager/Director; Maintains department supplies, equipment, and assigned sub-department inventory; Supports scheduling for assigned sub-departments; Promotes teamwork and excellent customer service; Processes and transmits images to PACS.
Required Qualifications
- Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
- Appropriate national certifications in two modalities.
- Current BLS certification upon hire and maintain current.
- Familiar with State and Federal regulations.
- One year of Acute Clinical Radiography required.
- Graduate of a program accredited by ARRT.
- Proficient computer skills.
