Job Summary
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-ray, CT, Mammography, Bone Density, Ultrasound, and Special Procedures per department protocols. Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, ensuring quality service and care. Participate in Performance Improvement and Quality Control activities, assist with maintaining the department Performance Improvement Program, and oversee radiology operations or staff in the absence of the Manager/Director. Maintain department supplies, equipment, and assigned sub-department inventory, support scheduling for assigned sub-departments, promote teamwork, and process and transmit images to PACS. Requires licensure, fluoro permit, and certifications in two modalities. Nights and days shifts available; 12-week assignment.
Required Qualifications
- Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State
- Appropriate national certifications in two modalities
- Current BLS certification
- Familiarity with State and Federal regulations
- One year of Acute Clinical Radiography experience
- Graduation from a program accredited by ARRT
- Proficient computer skills
