Job Summary
Radiology Technologist II (Part Time Days) performs radiographic imaging procedures, positions patients/equipment, selects technical factors, and ensures high-quality images meeting department standards. Maintains infection-control practices, safe patient handling, and thorough documentation in EMR/PACS. Requires ARRT RT(R) certification, BLS, and ongoing compliance with licensing/continuing education; cross-trains into advanced modalities as needed; strong communication with patients and diverse teams; adherence to ALARA and radiation safety principles. Education: Associate (preferred) with licensure/registrations as required; 1+ year experience preferred. Required Qualifications
- Registered Technologist – Radiography (RT(R) ARRRT)
- Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS)
- Associate Degree preferred; Bachelor's Degree preferred; High School Grad or Equiv required
- 1+ year work experience preferred
- Fluent in English
- Ability to follow radiation safety concepts ALARA
- Ability to maintain documentation in EMR/PACS
- Cross-trains into advanced modalities
- Knowledge of radiologic/fluoroscopic procedures and equipment
