Job Summary
Performs specialized imaging procedures including angio, complex vascular and neuro interventional and therapeutic procedures, along with assisting the Radiologist/PA. Must be registered in both Radiography and Interventional Radiography. Responsibilities include patient positioning, administering contrast media within scope, monitoring during procedures, adherence to radiation safety, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Requires completion of a Radiology Technology program and active ARRT certifications in Radiography and Interventional Radiography, with state-specific licensure as applicable. Day shift, 40 hours weekly in hospital Interventional Radiology department.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a Radiology Technology program
- State licensure requirements including ARRT Radiography and Interventional Radiography, ARRT-VI Vascular Interventional Radiographer, IEMA licensure where applicable
- Basic Life Support (BLS HCP) certification - American Heart Association
- ARRT-VI Vascular Interventional Radiographer
- ARRT-R Radiography
- Radiologic Technologists – IEMA/State-specific temporary accreditation where applicable
