Job Summary
Performs diagnostic imaging procedures across X-ray, CT, Mammography, Bone Density, Ultrasound, and Special Procedures per department protocols; serves as the primary point of contact for patients, ensuring quality service and care; participates in Performance Improvement and Quality Control activities; assists with maintaining the department PI program; oversees radiology operations and/or staff in the absence of the Manager/Director; maintains department supplies, equipment, and sub-department inventory; supports scheduling for assigned sub-departments; promotes teamwork and excellent customer service; processes and transmits images to PACS.
Required Qualifications
- Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State
- Two modalities required with appropriate national certifications
- Current BLS certification upon hire and maintain current
- Familiar with State and Federal regulations
- One year of Acute Clinical Radiography required
- Graduate of a program accredited by ARRT
- Proficient computer skills
