Job Summary
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-ray, CT, Mammography, Bone Density, Ultrasound, and Special Procedures per department protocols. Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, ensuring quality service and care. Participate in Performance Improvement and Quality Control activities, while overseeing radiology operations and staff in the absence of management. Maintain department supplies, equipment, and inventory, and support scheduling for assigned sub-departments. Process and transmit images to PACS. Requires licensure, two modality certifications, BLS, and one year of acute clinical radiography experience. Nights and day shifts available with immediate placement for 12-week assignments at award-winning hospital partners.
Required Qualifications
- Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State
- Appropriate national certifications in two modalities
- Current BLS certification
- Familiarity with State and Federal regulations
- One year of Acute Clinical Radiography
- Graduate of a program accredited by ARRT
- Proficient computer skills
