Radiology Technologist II

Job Summary

Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures including plain films, fluoroscopy, portables, and OR exams, with a Bone Density registry required. Explain procedures to patients, transport them to clinical areas, and position them for imaging while verifying identity. Administer contrast media and medications within scope, monitor patient activity during exams, and ensure high-quality images are submitted to PACS with correct markers and data. Maintain a clean department, verify equipment functionality, and report malfunctions or lock/tag out devices as appropriate. Perform limited CT procedures in emergent situations when a CT Technologist is unavailable. Work a Monday through Friday schedule from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM with an on-call requirement.

Required Qualifications

  • Completion of a Radiology Technology program
  • State of Work Location: Missouri and Oklahoma
  • Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
  • ARRT-R Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • ARRT-BD Bone Density - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Constant standing and walking
  • Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more)
  • Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication
  • Frequent use of hearing to distinguish body sounds and/or hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
  • Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs
  • Frequent lifting/moving of patients
  • Frequent reaching, gripping and keyboard use/data entry
  • Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs
  • Occasional use of vision to identify and distinguish colors
  • Occasional bending, stooping, squatting, twisting and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements
  • Rare kneeling and sitting
  • Night Shift (United States of America)
