Job Summary
Conduct diagnostic imaging by performing plain films, fluoroscopy, portables, and OR exams, including Bone Density procedures where a registry is required. Explain procedures to patients, transport them to clinical areas, and position them for exams while verifying identity. Administer contrast media and medications within scope, monitor protocols, and ensure high-quality image submission to PACS. Maintain equipment functionality, follow radiation safety guidelines, and keep the department clean and orderly. Perform limited CT procedures in emergent situations when a CT Technologist is unavailable. Work evening shifts with 36 weekly hours, utilizing constant alertness and safe manner.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a Radiology Technology program
