Job Summary
Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures including plain films, fluoroscopy, portables, and OR exams while ensuring patient safety and radiation compliance. Transport patients to clinical areas, explain procedures, and prepare patients for imaging by positioning them correctly. Administer contrast media and medications within scope, monitor patients during exams, and ensure high-quality image submission to PACS. Maintain equipment functionality and keep the department clean and orderly. Perform limited CT procedures in emergent situations when a CT Technologist is unavailable. Work a weekend shift with 24 scheduled weekly hours.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a Radiology Technology program
