Job Summary
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-ray, CT, mammography, bone density, ultrasound, and special procedures per department protocols. Serve as the primary point of contact for patients while participating in performance improvement and quality control activities. Maintain department supplies, equipment, and inventory; oversee radiology operations and staff in the absence of management. Support scheduling for assigned sub-departments and process images to PACS. Requires licensure, national certifications in two modalities, BLS, and one year of acute clinical radiography experience. Nights and day shifts available with immediate placement through 12-week assignments.
Required Qualifications
- Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State
- Appropriate national certifications in two modalities
- Current BLS certification
- Familiarity with State and Federal regulations
- One year of Acute Clinical Radiography
- Graduate of a program accredited by ARRT
- Proficient computer skills
