Job Summary
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-ray, CT, Mammography, Bone Density, Ultrasound, and Special Procedures per department protocols. Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, ensuring quality service and care. Participate in Performance Improvement and Quality Control activities, assist with maintaining the department program, and maintain supplies, equipment, and inventory. Oversee radiology operations and staff in the absence of the Manager/Director, support scheduling for assigned sub-departments, and process images to PACS. Promote teamwork and excellent customer service. Requires licensure, dual modality certification, and one year of acute clinical radiography experience. Nights and days shifts available for 12-week assignment.
Required Qualifications
- Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State
- Appropriate national certifications in two modalities
- Current BLS certification
- Familiarity with State and Federal regulations
- One year of Acute Clinical Radiography
- Graduate of a program accredited by ARRT
- Proficient computer skills
