Job Summary
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-ray, CT, Mammography, Bone Density, Ultrasound, and Special Procedures per department protocols. Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, ensure quality service and care, and process images to PACS. Participate in Performance Improvement and Quality Control activities, assist with maintaining the department Performance Improvement Program, and maintain department supplies, equipment, and inventory. Oversee radiology operations and/or staff in the absence of the Manager/Director and support scheduling for assigned sub-departments. Promote teamwork and excellent customer service. Requires licensure, national certifications in two modalities, current BLS, one year of Acute Clinical Radiography experience, and familiarity with State and Federal regulations. Nights and days shifts available with immediate opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State
- Appropriate national certifications in two modalities
- Current BLS certification
- Familiarity with State and Federal regulations
- One year of Acute Clinical Radiography
- Graduate of a program accredited by ARRT
- Proficient computer skills
