Job Summary
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-ray, CT, Mammography, Bone Density, Ultrasound, and Special Procedures per department protocols. Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, ensuring quality service and care. Participate in Performance Improvement and Quality Control activities, assist with maintaining the department program, and oversee radiology operations or staff in the absence of management. Maintain department supplies, equipment, and inventory while supporting scheduling for assigned sub-departments. Process and transmit images to PACS. Requires licensure, two modality certifications, and one year of acute clinical radiography experience. Nights and days shifts available with an assignment length of 12 weeks.
Required Qualifications
- Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State
- Appropriate national certifications in two modalities
- Current BLS certification
- Familiarity with State and Federal regulations
- One year of Acute Clinical Radiography
- Graduate of a program accredited by ARRT
- Proficient computer skills
