Job Summary
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-ray, CT, Mammography, Bone Density, Ultrasound, and Special Procedures per department protocols. Serve as the primary point of contact for patients while processing and transmitting images to PACS. Participate in Performance Improvement and Quality Control activities, assist with maintaining department supplies and inventory, and support scheduling for assigned sub-departments. Oversee radiology operations and staff in the absence of the Manager or Director. Promote teamwork and excellent customer service throughout the role.
Required Qualifications
- Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State
- Appropriate national certifications in two modalities
- Current BLS certification
- Familiarity with State and Federal regulations
- One year of Acute Clinical Radiography
- Graduate of a program accredited by ARRT
- Proficient computer skills
