Radiology Technologist II Acute

Job Summary
Perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic exams in an acute care setting and work closely with physicians to deliver critical patient care. Maintain patient safety and comfort with professionalism and empathy while operating radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment, including intraoperative and mobile procedures, and supporting procedures such as ERCPs and bronchoscopy. Ensure equipment performance and adherence to radiation safety principles (ALARA) and stay current with federal and state radiation safety laws. This role requires ARRT radiography certification, state licensure as required, and completion of ARRT registry within 6 months post-graduation; minimum one year of diagnostic radiology experience is preferred. PRN on-site position at Brunswick Medical Center in Bolivia, NC.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT (R) certification in Radiography required
- Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program, required
- Certification required within 6 months of hire post-graduation from an accredited Radiology Program
- Applicable state licensure as required
- Minimum of one year experience in diagnostic radiology, preferred
- Post-graduates from an accredited Radiology Program with be required to pass their ARRT registry within 6 months of completing program
