Job Summary
Perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic exams in an acute care setting and work closely with physicians to deliver critical patient care. Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment, including intraoperative and mobile procedures (ERCPs, bronchoscopy, mini-C-arms), while applying ALARA to minimize radiation exposure. Maintain patient safety and comfort with professionalism and empathy. Requires ARRT (R) certification in Radiography and ARRT-approved Radiography Program graduation, with certification within 6 months of hire; state licensure as required; 2-year associate degree preferred; one year of diagnostic radiology experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT (R) certification in Radiography required (RT(R))
- Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program; certification required within 6 months of hire
- Applicable state licensure as required
- 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred
- Minimum of one year experience in diagnostic radiology, preferred
- Proper operation of radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment; ALARA principles
- Independently performs radiographic and non-interpretive fluoroscopic procedures; assists licensed practitioner in procedures (e.g., ERCPs, bronchoscopy, intraoperative mobile procedures)
- Mobile imaging including lines, pacers, and neonates
- Experience with intraoperative and mobile radiographic procedures
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Post-graduates required to pass ARRT registry within 6 months of completing program
