Job Summary
Radiology Technologist I for Sentara Urgent Care Harbour View in Suffolk, VA. Part-time role (24 hours/week) with swing shift; may include weekends. Conduct general diagnostic radiological imaging studies under physician direction, including patient positioning, operation of imaging equipment and radiology information systems, and preparation of patient rooms. Phlebotomy competency may be required at sites performing radiology and lab. Certification/licensure as a radiologic tech is required for Virginia staff; ARRT certification or eligibility with registration within 90 days of hire. Eligible candidates may receive a sign-on bonus. Remote work not indicated; positions located in Suffolk, VA.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Radiologic Technologist in Virginia
- ARRT certification or eligible (registered within 90 days of hire)
- Part-Time availability and Swing Shift
- Phlebotomy competency may be required at some sites
- Knowledge of radiology equipment and electronic radiology systems
- Ability to position patients and perform general diagnostic radiology imaging studies under physician direction
