Job Summary
Obtain patient clinical history and lab work, then position and immobilize patients to demonstrate anatomic areas of interest while applying radiation protection principles. Perform radiographic procedures by selecting and operating imaging equipment, verify informed consent, and complete pre and post procedure documentation. Assist licensed practitioners with fluoroscopic and specialized radiography procedures, including administering medications and contrast as prescribed. Monitor patient conditions during examinations and record medical histories within the interdisciplinary team. Work a scheduled weekly shift of 32 hours across all work shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Certification and Registration with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) in Diagnostic Radiology
- BLS Basic Life Support, American Heart Association
- 1 year experience in radiation safety and patient care
- Experience with Radiology Information System
- EPIC Electronic Health Record (EHR)
- Picture archiving communication system (PACS)
- Patient centered care
