Job Summary
Radiology Generalist responsible for performing routine, portable, STAT, urgent, on-call and intraoperative diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopy procedures with accurate demonstration of anatomy and pathology; ensures patient identity, assesses contraindications, and provides information to patients and staff; maintains data entry and image management in EPIC and PACS; documents fluoroscopic time and radiation exposure; upholds patient safety and communicates equipment issues to Bio-Med and management within one hour; requires ARRT (R-AART), CMRT (Texas), and BLS certifications, plus a technical diagnostic radiology diploma; duties include patient interaction, education of patients/healthcare teams, and adherence to safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Technical diploma from a formal diagnostic Radiology program
- R-AART certification from the American Registry of Radiology Technologists
- CMRT certification from the Texas Medical Board
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
