Job Summary
Escort patients to and from the x-ray department and take x-rays as directed by the ordering physician. Set up studies on digital imaging CR and DR units, schedule and coordinate outpatient ultrasounds, and provide CDs of images when requested. Operate a c-arm for pain injection procedures if trained, print surgery films, log exams from outside facilities, and report equipment or supply issues to the supervisor. Maintain a clean and organized work area while ensuring patient confidentiality and adhering to radiation safety protocols. This role requires flexibility with location assignments across Shelton, Fairfield, and Milford. Required Qualifications
- Candidates must be flexible with location assignment (Shelton, Fairfield, and on occasion to the Milford office)
- Completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) registry
- Connecticut state Radiographer license
